Pierre Mauboussin had a vision for nascent leisure aviation: aerodynamic efficiency and low engine power. He designed for this purpose a wing with great elongation which remains however light.
He was the author of numerous patents, alone or in association with Louis Peyret or others.
They focus on aerodynamics, engine cooling, a foldable wing car-plane and even the “duck” formula.
Pierre Mauboussin was also interested in automotive aerodynamics.
