FlashbackFriday, July 23, 1952: First flight of the Fouga Magister jet

The CM.170R Magister (C for Castello and M for Mauboussin) is a two-seater (tandem) training aircraft.
Its external shapes, its V-shaped vertical stabilizer undoubtedly recall the origin of the aircraft (thin silhouette of the glider).
It is powered by two Turbomeca Marboré II engines, giving 400 kg of thrust each.
